RJ ALPHA COILS
RJ Alpha Coils pack a punch while faithfully reproducing your favorite vintage tones. These pickups combine our expert hand-winding processes with magnets from the USA to produce a lush tone of deep, controlled bass, precise and articulate midrange, and a bright, shimmering high-end.

Where it all started. The heart of the flagship of RJ Guitars - the RJ Supervintage 5-Guitars-in-1. Faithfully re-producing the essential vintage guitar tones from the Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Fender Jazzmaster, Gibson Les Paul and the Gibson ES-335.
STORY

RJ Guitars' origins are traced to RJ Custom Shop's pickups.
In 1988 RJ Jacinto, being one of the original electric guitarists in the Philippines in the 60's, was getting exasperated switching between his Fender Jazzmaster and his Gibson Les Paul during performances. RJ approached the Godfather of Philippine guitar luthiers, Rudy Discipulo, to make a guitar versatile enough to produce all the tones he needed. Rudy came up with the Series One Roadtone which was able to reproduce RJ's essential guitar tones of the Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Fender Jazzmaster, Gibson Les Paul and the Gibson ES-335. RJ, impressed with Rudy's workmanship, asked him to embark on a journey that would turn out to be RJ Guitars. This would later become the RJ Supervintage 5-Guitars-in-1, the brand's flagship guitar.

Over the decades, RJ Guitars further refined the pickup formula and winding techniques to come up with the RJ Supervintage that we know today - a culmination of classic tones with decades of history.
